Anti Homeless Floor Studs

By Mike Ashworth | June 7, 2014

Devices to deter homeless people from sleeping have been used in other Countres for a while, notably China, however they are now appearing on the streets of our Country.

These are outside 118 Southwark Bridge Road, London.

These are outside Tesco, Regent Street, London.

And these are outside the Labour Party HQ in Brewers Green, London.

Here is a news story on the anti homeless floor studs outside 118 Southwark Bridge Road, London.

And for a slighty different take on it all (i.e. much more swearing), this is ChunkyMark aka Artist Taxi Driver.

They even have a term for this stuff “Defensive Architecture”. You can view many more examples of this kind of stuff here.

I have my own term for them, what a cuntish thing they are….

“The brains of those behind this are nothing but concrete spikes.”
