On the move
By Mike Ashworth | May 13, 2010
I believe someone once said that if you are not continually pushing boundaries in your life, experiencing new things, challenging yourself, you are in effect moving backwards.
With that in mind I’ll be leaving Brighton soon to re-locate to Warwickshire. Exact location is yet to be decided however some areas that look promising are Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Warwick and parts of Coventry. It’s a beautiful part of the country and one that I had not spent much time exploring until recently.
Why the move? Well often people move for work however in my case I’m moving so that I can train more frequently in Self Protection and martial arts under the tutelage of people such as Al Peasland and Mick Tully of Complete Self Protection and others.
Thankfully the work I am doing and intend to do in the future is fairly portable.
As with many things I have discovered in recent months, this is not without any fears on my part, however fears are there to be fronted and dealt with.
I look forward to meeting lots of new people and experiences.

Hi Mike
Thanks for the mention - and good luck with the move.
There’s no growth in comfort, so well done for stepping forwards and making the changes.
I hope that Mick and myself can help to make the relcation worthwhile and worthy of the commitment you’re putting in.
Great training with you mate
Al
