Trying to turn children into literate, creative, flexible free thinkers by adding things to the national curriculum is like trying to transform witches into Christians by piling ever-heavier rocks on their chests.

I wonder how much it costs per pupil to educate them?
Would be nice if we had the option of where/how to spend the money. I know what I would choose

I tried to do a very unscientific calculation however i couldn’t find out how many kids go to state schools
