Perspective
By Mike Ashworth | January 16, 2010
Sometimes it is difficult to get a perspective on a problem as it can seem you are being overwhelmed.
We allow it to become our world, when really, it is just small stuff.
But we allow it to become so big that is clouds the very air we breathe, it smothers our vision and – worst of all – it ruins our bodies and stops us from enjoying the world in which we reside for such a short time.
If the Galaxy is the size of a full stop (in comparison to the known universe) in a book of 500 pages in a library that stretches the length of a football pitch and is 5 stories high. How small is the Earth? How small is our continent? How tiny is our country, city, town ,street…….
How small is that problem, that completely overwhelms you, in comparison to what is really out there.
When your perspective changes the world will change with it.
