Forgiveness is power
By Mike Ashworth | January 17, 2010
Recently I wrote about a truly inspiring chap called Geoff Thompson
From time to time he runs a masterclass which is a mixture of self protection and motivation / personal development.
This particular clip from one of his classes is about forgiveness.
In the clip he talks about his film Romans 12:20 and how forgiveness gives you the power to be impervious to everything that has happened to you.
This guy speaks from personal experience, which you may find difficult to take on board as he has forgiven the person who abused him as a child.
It’s very powerful.
Romans 12:20 the full film

Wow Mike - powerful indeed. Thanks for sharing the link to this in the conversation on Victoria’s wall. I’ve yet to watch the full movie, but have bookmarked for later. You’re right, he won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I admire his truth, his courage in being authentic. I mentioned the movie Into The Wild in relation to forgiveness, but here’s another link which talks about the courage in vulnerability you might of interest: http://www.claireraikes.com/2010/11/brene-brown-talks-about-wholeheartedness-authenticity-worthiness-courage/
