Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
By Mike Ashworth | December 14, 2009
Recently I shared with you an episode of Oprah where Randy Pausch, a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, gave an abridged version of his spectacular “last lecture”.
The “last lecture” is an academic tradition, where, hypothetically, if you knew you were going to die and had one last lecture to give, what would you say to your students.
In this instance, it wasn’t hypothetical, as Randy was dying and had been given only months to live.
This is the full length “last lecture” he gave to students at Carnegie Mellon University.
In this moving presentation, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” Randy talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals

In addition, Dr Gabriel Robins, from Carnegie Mellon University has been collecting and archiving his video lectures and newspaper articles. You’ll find them at this link.
