Marketing for musicians - radio replays
By Mike Ashworth | May 28, 2009
If you or one of your songs has been played on a radio show and you want your fans to listen to the replay, here is something that will help you.
Rather than just send your fans a message with the name of the show and telling them to find it and have a listen to the replay, instead do the work yourself and send it in the email/message/update.
My thinking.
1 x 2 minutes for you to find the link to the replay and post it it to your fans
Vs.
1000 (or however many fans you want to listen to it) x 2 minutes for your fans to find it.
Result
We live in in times where people’s attention is becoming more precious therefore a link to the show, just one click away, will always work better than any other message.
Plus, the time spent finding the replay can instead be spent listening to it, which is your goal. more love all around for you and your band.
