Long before Jamie Oliver launched his attack on poor school meals, Jethro Carr was working with school children encouraging them to eat healthily.

Since 2002 he has been running “Kitchen Academy” a company that takes chefs to schools and national events providing them with a unique and bespoke service of teaching children healthy cooking.

The Kitchen Academy was boosted with support from the Princes Trust at the beginning of 2004. This support has taken the business from strength to strength and it now works nationally with major clients at many of the UK’s premier events.
