how to search the internet
By Mike Ashworth | May 3, 2009
Searching for information on the internet may be the most natural thing in the world for most people.
I was helping someone locate counselling and support services for the relatives and carers of those with Traumatic Brain Injury. I located a number of useful links and contacts from my search of the internet that the person whom I was assisting had been unable to.
It struck me that perhaps it isn’t that easy for everyone. Most people probably “get by” and it’s not like you get some official training when you purchase a computer.
Rather than write my own guide to tell you how to carry out effective searches of the internet I will instead defer to the awesome work of the team at Commoncraft.
Commoncraft make complex ideas easy to understand using short and simple videos.
